Limited edition, PRETTIE LANES Original.

 

A classic from past collections, now in a brand new, delicious color way: Buttery Yellow. Day dress in a 1950s style made of a crisp Gingham Cotton fabric in shades of Off-White and Sunshine Yellow - together appearing Pastel Butter Yellow from afar.  Fitted bodice with short Dolman sleeves and beautiful Daisy embroidery applique along the entire neckline. 

 

- 100% medium-weight, Gingham Cotton fabric.

- Cotton Daisy applique on neckline (front & back)

- Scoop neckline front (back neckline higher)

- short Dolman sleeves

- Bodice lined. Skirt unlined (opaque).

- formed bust darts for a midcentury silhouette

- full, gathered skirt

As a PRETTIE LANES original, you can find signature Mid-Century authentic details, such as a lapped metal zipper (center back),  true to era seam finishing and genuinely hand-stitched details inside the dress - a couture finish typical for the fashion of the 1950s. 

 

Note: Dress shown with a petticoat & accessories - not included. Mannequin (no arms) is a size 32 with a dress in size 36, so please note the neckline appears slightly higher than it actually is. Neckline accurately shown on White mannequin (size 36).

Professional dry clean or gentle hand wash 30°C. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron/steam medium heat. Always wash with the zipper closed. Natural fiber garments are best stored in a cool environment without direct sunlight to prevent color fading over the years.
