Cotton Velveteen is a vegan option of Silk velvet. It has a more subtle and matte sheen and a more sturdy drape than Silk Velvet, making it more versatile for casual day looks and evening looks. Compared to polyester, petroleum based options, it is a biodegradable, natural and breathable fabric.

As a PRETTIE LANES original, you can find signature Mid-Century authentic details, such as a lapped metal zipper (center back), true to era seam finishing and genuinely hand-stitched details inside the dress - a couture finish typical for the fashion of the 1950s.

100% Cotton Velveteen. Lining: 100% Cotton & Rayon. 

Professional dry clean or gentle hand wash 30°C. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron/steam medium heat from the inside or with an ironing cloth. Always wash with the zipper closed to prevent the Velveteen from damage through the metal teeth. Natural fiber garments are best stored in a cool environment without direct sunlight to prevent color fading over the years.
