A fabric sample can also be sent to you on request to make it easier to color-match your shoes, jewelry & more.

 

 

F E A T U R E S

 

The epitome of mid-century silhouettes - class and calm elegance textured Bouclè fabric in shades of Creme paired with stunning sleeves. A wonderful dress/ensemble for a wedding or a luxury version of a breath-taking Summer dress, business dress or high tea attire.

 

The sleeveless dress (orderable with or without the jacket) features a fitted bodice with formed darts for an authentic 1950s silhouette and a wide oval neckline (high in the front and slightly lower in the back. The fitted, straight skirt-part features a back vent to ensure comfort and movement.

 

The two beautifully draped side bows on the upper hip add this special extra to this look. Underneath the bows hidden are two pockets, small enough to not show yet big enough to carry your obligatory tissue, lipstick or similar small belongings.

 

Back, lapped metal zipper. Fully lined for opacity and comfort. Couture finish: authentic invisibly (hand-) sewn hems, facings and details all-over, just how it was done back in the 1940s and 50s. The dress features internal bra strap stays on the shoulder seam to keep your bra straps in place, while enjoying a wide flattering neckline.

 

Classic midi length (see sizing table) or custom length (Free of charge 0,00CHF).

 

The Pearl Tassel brooches and the Pearl Necklace are also available at the website.

 

The waist-length jacket features dramatic, just-below-elbow length bishop sleeves with a bow detail on the hem, perfectly mirroring the bows of the dress and creating a beautiful ensemble look. The sleeves are interlined to have a beautiful voluminous and firm drape (they are not(!) filled with material for the photo- its just how they drape).

 

The princess seams on the jacket created a fitted look to enhance your hourglass silhouette. The deep front neckline of this jacket is framing your bodice in the most flattering way and closes with invisible metal snap buttons for a clean and seamless look.

 

Fully lined for opacity and comfort. Couture finish: authentic invisibly (hand-) sewn hems, facings and details all-over, just how it was done back in the 1940s and 50s.
